The beautiful woman was laying down on the living room floor her skin covered in black and blue. She crawls to the bathroom and clean and covered her wounds. She looks in the mirror above the sink and the image looking back at her scares her. Her once tan skin is now translucent and pale and her once sparkly blue eyes are black and lifeless. Her once thick beautiful chestnut hair is now thin and greasy, and her long ago curvy body is no more. She is broken.

The tall man is driving to the florist for flowers for his wife. He pulls to the side of the road to wrap his hands after all they are grazed and bloodied; but not with his own blood. He continues driving until he gets to his destination. He gets to the florist and pick out the white Gardenias and goes to the casher that he knows by name and vice versa. His black hair is covered with a hood, his brown eyes are cold and hard, his olive skin is covered in the black ink decorating his skin, and his lips turned into a permanent frown. He is guarded.

The fourteen year old girl packs her bag whilst silent tears runs down her face. Her black hair which she gotten from her father is in a ponytail. Her blue eyes which she gotten from her mother are puffy and bloodshot. She can no more put up with the fighting between her father and mother. She opens her window which overlooks the trampoline and jumps. She runs to her boyfriend’s house whom is five years older than her. She doesn’t know she is about to repeat history. She is scarred and robbed of a childhood.
